We expect all members and all who attend our events to conduct themselves according to these guidelines.
| 1. | Our attitudes and demeanor will be open, friendly and respectful toward all people and the environment. |
| 2. | We will respond peacefully to verbal and physical violence by others. |
| 3. | We respect the property of all others. |
| 4. | We agree not to bring or use firearms, other weapons, illegal drugs or alcohol at actions or events. |
| 5. | We agree to accept responsibility for our actions. |
| 6. | We will encourage others to act peacefully and will intervene nonviolently to promote peace and justice. |
To which we add the following:
| 1. | Be respectful to Police, State Troopers, Secret Service and Military personel at all times. Obey the instructions of the Police, State Troopers and Secret Service. Immediately report to your protest group leader what you were told and the law enforcement officer's name if possible. |
| 2. | Stay on the sidewalk, next to the road, yield to and be polite to all pedestrians. |
| 3. | Don't block traffic signals with signs or interfere in any way with the traffic flow. If you have to cross the intersection with a sign hold it down horizontally so it cannot be read by anyone. If emergency vehicles approach hold all signs down in the same manner so motorists will pay attention to the emergency and not you. |
